131 The Promenade Cheltenham Wedding | Liv + Dan
They chose 131 The Promenade in Cheltenham for the majority of their celebrations and despite it being the hottest day of the year, we smashed it. I'm personally so thrilled with this collection and I know Dan & Liv were too.
Five Favourite Things About 131 The Promenade, Cheltenham
The light! It's like a Renaissance painting waiting to happen.
The styling. It's a Pinterest-lovers dream.
The food, with multiple menus created to a high standard.
It's right across the road from a park and has gorgeous outside space.
Gin + Juice, one of the most incredible bars I've ever been into.
Marylebone Town Hall Winter Wedding on Christmas Eve
Back in late 2018 when she first enquired about my availability to photograph her wedding to Kev on Christmas Eve of 2019, she only booked in for a few short hours. Enough to capture a little bit of bridal prep held at the prestigious The Ritz London, their ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall and some guest shots whilst en route to The Oxo Tower restaurant for dinner.
I ended up spending her wedding morning with her and the girls, orchestrating her first look with Kevin and finishing my (incredible!) dinner at The Oxo with a glass of Amaretto before our walk back along the South Bank and then horse drawn carriage ride back to The Ritz.
Self-Designed Feathered Dress with Sexy Vibes | Lucy + Steve
I first met Lucy whilst photographing Sam + Laura's wedding in the Cotswolds in 2018, whilst she smashed life in her capacity as a make up artist. We got chatting about her own wedding plans before the girls arrived for make-up and I was gutted to find out that a) she'd picked one of my favourite ever venues, b) the aesthetics of the day sounded incredible and c) she'd already booked her photographer. Real life feelings of missing out on something very special were going on... does that pass as FOMO for the future?
A Pronovias Dress For A Cotswolds Wedding | Laura & Lucas
For me, word of mouth is still the winner. Laura & Lucas were guests at the wedding of Sam to Laura last year at Curradine Barns, saw how I worked on the day and loved the Steel's wedding photography collection.
So, they booked. And went and got wed at Stone Barn in the Cotswolds, part of the Cripps group.
Cotswolds Stone Barn Wedding | Abi & Ed
The Stone Barn is the sister venue of Cripps, also in the Cotswolds, which I have had the pleasure of photographing at a few times now in all weathers. Stone Barn itself is a more rustic version and I adore the corrugated roof and weathered outside.
A Ted Baker Dress For A Riverside Wedding | Kiera + Adam
Trinity Buoy Wharf (specifically The Chain Store in this case) itself is a beautiful huge white warehouse by the river and although the inside space is large enough to contain all your guests AND their drinks, the outside space is really something special.
A Floral Dress in Tuscany
The wedding of Hamish + Sara will stay in my mind and in my heart for years to come.
Firstly, because it was in Tuscany, which I adore. I’d photographed at this venue (Montestigliano) once before as a second photographer and dreamed of returning.
Oceans + Airports; A Great Love
This Brazilian beauty married her dapper Oregonian love at St Pancras station in London, followed by a reception at 06 St Chad’s Place.
Red Lips + Cigar Smoke
One Devonshire Gardens, a Hotel du Vin townhouse in the West End of Glasgow.
Jenny Packham at Mount Amelia, Norfolk
I adore country house weddings, and Mount Amelia in Norfolk is no exception! Beach babes + baby blue convertibles a’plenty…
A Boho Wedding in Wales
Allison + Ricky married at my favourite UK venue… can you guess where?
Château de Cazenac Wedding | Dordogne | South of France
Weddings at Chateau de Cazenac come with the incredible wedding planners, Marry Me In France, to ensure that every part of your celebrations are what you dreamed. I interviewed Beth Stretton, who began Marry Me In France 15 years ago...
Borgo Egnazia, Puglia Wedding | Nae + Dave
Oh, Puglia. Where do I even start with this one!?
I'll firstly take you back to 2013 when Hamish + Sara married under the Tuscan sunshine at Montestigliano. With Australian/Swedish Australian heritages, it was only expected that many of their guests would have flown over from Australia to party with them.
A quick fast-forward to 2016 for Emma + Shaya's wedding, also in Tuscany, where I worked with the wonderful Alice from Italian Style Weddings.
These two celebrations of love came together to create the opportunity for me to photograph Nae + Dave's wedding week-long celebrations in Puglia back in May of 2019. Hamish + Sara know Nae + Dave well, both being Australian and with work connections between them. The icing on the cake was the recommendation from Alice too.
