Oh, this family really has a special place in my heart! I had the pleasure of photographing Tamsin and Sonya’s wedding way back in 2017, and since then, I’ve been invited to capture so many beautiful milestones with them. From Tamsin's maternity session to Rudi’s newborn session, and now these moments as their little family grows—it's been incredible to see their journey up close.

For our Christmas mini session, Rudi came along, feeling a bit shy (which is so normal, especially with little ones around new places!). We embraced it, though, and created a space where he could feel completely comfortable. He spent some time snuggled up with his mamas, and we even let him dive into one of his favorite books. He also brought along a couple of his toys, which worked wonders—it's such a great trick for bringing out a little one’s personality when they’re feeling reserved. These quiet moments, reading together and playing with familiar things, really let his personality shine in a gentle, authentic way.

And of course, I can't forget to mention their color palette! They always know just what fits their style, and this session was no different. Their earthy, cozy tones fit the warmth of autumn and winter perfectly—it felt so true to who they are and created such a warm atmosphere in every shot.
