I first met Naomi + Tom at a wedding in the late summer of 2024, where Naomi was a Bridesmaid. She looked so incredible with her bump so I struck up the courage to let her know I was opening a family studio, and asked to let me know when babe had arrived so I could tell her more about my newborn packages.

Due at the end of October, Little Theodore in fact arrived 7 weeks early and after a stint in hospital he and Naomi were allowed to go home, all safe and healthy! They were still cosied up in their safe home bubble so Naomi asked if I would mind travelling to their house rather than doing a studio shoot.

No problem at all, I replied, and brought a simple white backdrop with me. We used a sofa cushion in place of a newborn beanbag to keep Theo close to the ground (not that he would be rolling anywhere yet!), and then hung the white backdrop up from their curtain rail for the photographs of them as a three.

The most important thing with newborn (or any) family portrait shoots is that you feel comfortable as a family. We can recreate a studio wherever needed!

Naomi’s review: We had such a fantastic experience with Claudia! Our little boy was premature, so we didn’t want to take him out to a studio. Claudia was so accommodating and came to our home, even though it was over an hour’s drive for her. She was incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable, but what really stood out was how amazing she was with our boy! She was so gentle and patient with him - you can tell she’s a natural with newborns.

The photos are absolutely beautiful — she captured our baby so perfectly! We especially love the little feet photos. We also asked if she could include our dog in a few shots, and she happily did that for us as well, which we really appreciated. Thank you so much, Claudia, for going above and beyond. We’ll treasure these photos forever and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again! Highly recommended.
